History
Arriesgado College Foundation, Inc. is a private, non-profit educational institution in Tagum City founded in 1989 as AMCH Midwifery School Foundation, Inc. It began with 78 midwifery students, and its first three graduating batches achieved PRC board passing rates of 100%, 99%, and 97%, producing several national topnotchers and earning recognition as a top performing midwifery school, a standard it has maintained with another 100% passing rate in 2019. ACFI expanded in 1995 with a high school department and BS Nursing, whose first graduates also performed strongly in the NLE. It later added TESDA’s Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1997 and a Sunday High School program in 2002 for working students. The school’s Education and BSBA programs began in 2011, with BSED and BEED graduates posting 100% LET passing rates in 2011 and 2012, and a graduate ranking 4th nationwide in 2018. ACFI remains committed to providing quality education for the global workforce.
